a piece of furniture that questions reality. it adapts to the needs and wishes of its user. ray addresses the near future - little living spaces - lots of people. the need for individuality increases. form and space emerge from an interactive surface. deforming and bending creates a partition wall, privacy and noise protection for the home office, a sofa. a relaxing area, a bed or a table. inspired by asian culture, with ray you sit or lie close to the ground. the proximity to the floor promotes physical flexibility and strength by standing up and sitting down.
